Pakistan has achieved a major milestone at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026 held in Colombia, securing three Bronze Medals and two Honorable Mentions. Out of 400 participants from over 90 countries, Zulfiqar Ali, Ali Hamdan Alvi, and Daniyal Shahzad Hamid won bronze medals, while Hazza Mahmood and Abdullah Ejaz received honorable mentions. Prepared through the rigorous national STEM Careers Program managed by HEC and PIEAS—this exceptional achievement highlights Pakistan's rising potential in global science education and the dedication of its brilliant young minds.
